CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“The Great Mahakala Retreat house was the perfect venue for my retreat. The spaces are beautiful, luminous and filled with great energy. You can feel the presence and blessings of the masters decorating its walls, as well as the devotion of many spiritual practices done under its roof.

Jill, our host, was a wonderful, loving supporting presence. Guest felt welcomed and invited to take full benefit of the retreat house. Her cooking was a perfect combination of tasty, with the warmth of home cooking and yet easy to digest, perfect food for a meditation retreat.

I felt that everything was taking care of, so that I could focus on my teaching.”

  • Tomas Rodriguez, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Life Coach

“When I booked the house to hold our retreat, I knew it would be perfect, but this far exceeded my expectations.

The healing energy of the space, the food that was prepared with such care and love, the help that Jill and her beautiful staff provide, …the whole retreat was literally life-changing, transformational, and will always have a crystallized place in my heart. Thank you for making our retreat such a healing experience and a safe space for personal growth.”

  • Harmony Brown, Director Reclaim Wellness Acupuncture and Functional Medicine Center

“I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for you taking that big step of faith and welcoming our group and program. Your kindness, hospitality, and professionalism are over the top. This sacred space made all of us feel so welcome and like a home away from home. Your team is amazing, and I so appreciate all the care you gave to our special requests and the amazing healthy meals. This is now my favorite venue. Namaha, Namaha, Namaste.

  • Judith Kravitz, Founder Transformational Breath

“…to engage in contemplative practices that include elements such as silence, slowness, stillness, solitude, and simplicity. That is what I find at the Great Mahakala Retreat House, and that's why I have chosen to teach there. The entire space welcomes me, invites me to slow down, caresses my heart in a loving way, and offers me protection to explore. Every time the retreat comes to an end and I have to leave, I leave with the desire that I could stay  a little longer. And that is what motivates me to keep coming back…”
